I love a great cup of coffee but don't have time to fuss with different preparation methods, my wife and I make a big drip pot for both of us every morning. I find that after putting in cream and sugar, given the basic preparation method with a not that expensive drip machine, the coffee tastes pretty much the same whether I buy cheap stuff or very expensive specialty coffee. Some really cheap and supermarket coffees are just lousy though. This is one of the cheapest coffees I found that is good so I keep buying it over and over again. Seattle's best is a good brand which is now owned by Starbucks, which I like too but this is a few dollars cheaper in general. $4.49 a bag on amazon is cheaper than almost anything you can get in the supermarket so why not buy it here.

I really enjoy the hazelnut and the blend that hits stores around Christmas time. I used to work at a bookstore that had a Seattle's Best cafe in it (I LOVE YOU FOREVER BORDERS). I tried most if not all the blends. At the time I wasn't a huge coffee drinker. I only really like the seasonal blend and hazelnut. The rest were too bitter/strong/heavy handed for me. BUT there were many customers that loved those and came in everyday for a cup. If you tend to like mellow, cooperative coffees, stick to the hazelnut or pick up the seasonal at a store. Oh, Borders... I miss you...

I thought this coffee lacks flavor, even for a medium roast, both the coffee and the hazelnut. The price is great for coffee, but I'll pass on buying this one again. If you're into mild coffees and low acidity, then you'll probably find this coffee to be pleasant. Compared to something like Folgers or Dunkin' Donuts, it has less flavor than their medium roasts. It's not the best hazelnut flavor I've had either but it's still fairly enjoyable for the hazelnut. The best thing going for this coffee is that you get 12oz for $4.23. So I think of it more of a 3 star coffee but I'll give it a 4 star because it's a cheap medium roast.
