Just received and tested this mat. This thing is incredibly small and shockingly comfortable. I am 6'-3" tall but this thing will do since its hard to find one taller than 6 feet anyways. It quickly inflated with about 12 full breathes and deflated and re-compressed easily. Compacts very small (about 8" tall with 3" radius) and extremely lite at about 14 oz. Tested the r-factor (insulating factor).. its not..well.. great... but I will be using it in combination with a foam sleeping mat in high altitudes hikes where it gets down around 0 degrees .. but man is it surprisingly comfortable..This thing is perfect for the long distance hiker/backpacker that needs to take the hard edge off sleeping on solid ground without the weight. I would also suggest using a tarp/plastic sheet underneath so as not to puncture if sleeping outside a tent..
Real review after months of use, Awesome pad

I'm not sure what the bad comments are referring to, maybe they did get defective products. But I will assure anyone interested in a cheaper alternative for a sleeping pad, that I just started camping avidly a few months ago and this pad has been nothing but awesome for me and I'm a college student so with my super tight budget I opted to use this as my bed. It's better than the floor and in my opinion it's pretty damn comfy. I hope this company comes out with more affordable gear. And it does get back to being small but you just have to insure you roll it back up after releasing the air properly.((Seen a comment saying it doesn't))
Now with that being said if you are a spasm sleeper ((Which I used to be but after having this pad I now sleep still)) than one fix I found that works is putting the pad inside your sleeping bag with you and that way you can't roll off. Not really a con seeing as how being a fitfull would be a user problem. It's also worth mentioning that I've seen some sleeping bags with elastic straps on the underside specifically for sleeping pads. I'm rambling a bit now but it is a little long but I find that's perfect for placing my pillow on so thats for the people complaining about length, lastly for reference I'm 5'6 230lbs of a muscular build. Hope this helps anyone interested in an affordable sleeping bag.

Better than my Thermarest
MAD✓ Verified Purchase•April 6, 2017
I bought this ultralight pad because it packed smaller and was lighter than my Thermarest Prolite regular. It was an added plus than it is even bigger and thicker blowed up! As an hiking enthusiast I am always looking for minimizing my pack weight and size. This pad did both. Going on a hike this Memorial Day weekend through Johnson Pass in Alaska. Will update review then on how it fairs in weather below 50 degrees in the mountains.
6/1/2017:
Back from my trip to Alaska... it dropped down below freezing (30 degree) while I was there. I can actually say it performed well compared to the Thermarest Prolite. I took both and had them side by side in my CopperSpur ultra lightweight tent. For comfort, this sleeping pad actually beats the Thermarest in the field. I could not tell really the difference in heat reflection or drain, while laying upon either one. So I went with comfort, and this sleeping pad wins in my book.

great for travelling
Joan-Lisa✓ Verified Purchase•March 28, 2017
it is great for travelling. Blows up with only few breaths and packs away in a small bag. the only thing I didn't like was the noise it makes when sleeping on it. It sounds too much like a plastic tarp. But that is a personla preference.
Still I can highly recommend it to any one who needs a quick and simple place to sleep that is more comfortable as the floor.

perfect little air mattress
Amanda Callahan✓ Verified Purchase•March 21, 2017
perfect little air mattress. I wanted something to sleep on that isnt the hard ground. super easy and quick to blow up. the hole nozzle is very smart so that air doesnt come out when you try and seal it. small so I can pack it away easily with little room
