they work very well with my wide mouth mason jars and the white plastic lids. I also have been using the old wide plastic lids that came with instant coffee many years ago. these silicon seals make these coffee lids a tighter fit.

These work Very well with the Ball/Mason jar wide mouth plastic lids, making for a better seal. I took just a few minutes for a little practice initially, to get used to Exactly how much to tighten the list, without"‹ being overtightened and difficult to open. An EXCELLENT product, to replace the bands and lids for regular food storage and frequent use of the jar, preferring to store food items in glass.

I tried these seals on my regular mason jars that I use for daily food storage and they didn't seem to help for the jars seemed to leak worse with the seals in then out. But when I did some fermenting I tried these seals and they worked great gave a great seal great to use for canning also.

I have been using the white wide-mouth plastic lids on my canning jars with great frustration because the lids leaked! These are the SOLUTION!!! They fit snuggly on the jar and then the lids now screw on tight.
