Great value for stray cats.

I buy this on a regular basis to feed the stray outdoor cats. It is the best value out there. It also is a nice size piece so all sizes of cats and kittens can chew the pieces. I also love the bonus size packages and the fact that Amazon delivers to my front door as it is a larger size bag and kinda heavy for me to load and unload.
Good choice for their urinary tract health.

I switched to this brand about two years ago because two of my three cats were having problems with their tracts.
I used to feed them a popular brand that begins with F but switched to 9-Lives Plus Care after some one recommended it for the cat's urinary health. I feed the cats 1/3 dry and 2/3 wet food not mixed together. I add one tablespoon of water to their wet food. No more urinary tract problems.

I don't eat it, so I can't honestly rate the flavor other than the fact my cats like it.
I really hope they didn't discontinue the food and it's only the size of the bag. Oh well, like everything else these days...just be thankful you find it if you find it.

I'm having give stars on flavor, basised on the fact that the cat eats the nine lives brand of food and demands that her dish is refilled as soon as she can see the bottom of her bowl. Having said that I cannot testify personally to the flavour, and I have no intention of tasting it to find it.
Having even purchased expensive designer kitty foods, which the cat refused to eat. She just loves nine lives and is a very happy, demanding kitty, who knows what she likes and refuses to eat what she doesn't like. This is not our first purchase of nine lives, not always the same flavour and I know it won't be out last, considering that it is fussy miss kitties preferred food brand.

I buy this to throw out to the feral cats in the neighborhood (keeps them out of the garbage) and this food fits the bill. It doesn't stain the driveway and the cats eat it up. The price is comparable to buying in the store. I won't comment on the flavor because I don't care if the cats like the flavor or not! (Please note: all the feral cats have been caught, spay/neuter, and shots given. That's the most humane way to treat a cat colony and keep them from expanding.) Will buy this product again.
