I browsed for so many Wooden puzzle board - alphabets for my 2 year old. This one is the best.
1. This has the same background color as of the alphabet ( easy learning - my son learned to put the puzzles quickly all by himself unlike other boards which has plain background just with the shape)

The pieces are chunky as advertised, which is what we were looking for. I think the holes for the letters could be a little deeper to help pieces stay in better when tilted, but pieces may not then be as easy to pick up from puzzle.

Bought this puzzle for my daughter. Very high quality product and love the fact that it's made out of wood. We also own the Melissa and Doug one but this is far superior. I like how the letters are clearly cut, has pictures beneath it and are color coded. This helps my daughter with recognizing the letters. The one that we had was not as educational because my daughter will get frustrated when she couldn't put it together and will give up all together. This is a perfect fit for my almost 3 year old daughter.
