Terrible! We are only three hours into our trip ...

Terrible! We are only three hours into our trip and there is a seam already tearing! I will be asking for a refund! Too bad they can't ship me a new one to our condo... really afraid what will happen the remaining six hours to our first destination and then six more hours the next day to our final destination and back hom again!

This bag survived a lengthy trip of approximately 20 hours without a single problem. The storage space is generous and we found that filling the bag to capacity helped minimize flapping and possible wind damage. Blankets and pillows are great for filling up any extra space. Straps held up well and the bag is light and easy to store when empty. A solid product that will be a real help for vacation trips, moving young adults into college dorms, or bringing home that yard sale treasure you had to have. I love the flexibility we have of throwing the carrier bag into the trunk "just in case" we need it later, and not having a permanent container on top of my car.

Worked great! Super easy to use! Made it from New Jersey all the way to Outer Banks, NC! Everything also stayed completely dry inside the bag through all the rain we drove though!!

Not rainproof, some of our gear was wet when we unloaded after driving all day, however it was sturdy and easy to assemble. The straps seemed to be adjusted well but we heard flapping about 5 hours into our drive and pulled over to find that they had come undone completely on 2 sides. I used duct tape to secure them and there were no issues after that.
So, don't put anything in this that can't handle a little moisture, and bring a roll of duct tape with you just in case.
