I have done a lot or research on frying pans , all makes and prices. My final choice was to purchase the Vesuvio Ceramic Coated Nonstick Frying Pan. I Just received it and have made eggs sunny side up,scrambled, skirt steaks , potatoes mixed with onions and mushrooms , Shrimp mixed with spinach, onions, mushrooms. This is the best frying pan I have ever used, very easy to clean and I'm planning to replace more of my cooking pans and pots . 5 Stars or More

I just tried this pan this evening. Seared a couple of pork chops seasoned with garlic pepper and oregano, then poured a cup or so Italian basil tomato sauce over the chops and placed the lid on for several minutes to simmer then added a half slice of Havarti cheese on each just before taking off the stove. I placed the pan on a trivet to retain the heat when serving. The chops came out moist and tender seasoned with an Italian flare.
The pan cleaned up easily with a soapy sponge in hot water, then dries with a regular dish towel. The glass top handle washer retains some wash water, but I was able to dry this easily by unscrewing the handle and replacing it with my hands when done.(no tools needed)

Haven't had the opportunity to really put this pan through it's paces, but it's beautiful, nice weight. The only thing I've cooked so far is fried green tomatoes which require frying oil so haven't put the non-stick quality to test yet. But the tomatoes turned out golden and light, which can be hard to accomplish in light weight pans, as a Southern cook, this is a dish we usually reserve for our cast iron skillets. I so hope this pan retains it's non-stick quality, I've had so many other brands that only stay non-stick for a couple of months. This was a serious investment for a frying pan based on the other reviews. Looking forward to more cooking time with my new kitchen tool! Was pleased with the fast delivery.

This pan is absolutely life changing! It's all I cook in now from eggs, bacon, sausage, burgers, chicken breasts, fish, sautéed onions, oatmeal, you name it I've probably done it. Not even once did anything attempt to stick and the heat distribution is so balanced throughout the whole pan! For example, I use just barely any non stick spray (butter pam is my favorite) and turn your heat to med high. Pour 10 egg whites from a carton in there and put the lid on. Basically cooks itself within minutes and makes like a fluffy egg white pizza! Just season with pizza seasoning and maybe a little marinara and it's amazing! Slides right out of the pan too. You don't have to, but I'll flip it once and let it cook for like 15-20 seconds to sear the top for texture and boom, done

I recently received the pan and am getting familiar with it and so far, I'm very impressed. The pan is well balanced, solid and the bottom is very flat on my glass stovetop. The top fits very well although I'd like a little higher handle on the top. I am following the instructions on preheating and cooking on medium heat and it's working well. I'm not yet an expert on flipping omelets but the sloped edges on this pan are helpful for that.
I like the cooking surface and haven't had any issues with sticking, even when frying eggs. It's also easy to clean. I'm going to enjoy using this for a long time.
