I was skeptical, but this straightening brush is amazing! I have tight curls/coils and this brush straightened better than my very expensive flat iron. I brushed my hair with a wire brush in sections and then passed the straightener brush through once and it was shiny and straight. Would definitely recommend for anyone with curly hair, even my natural hair sisters with kinky/coily curls!
I was so close to spending the $84 on the Head kandy and I'm so glad I didn't!

I have ridiculously curly, frizzy, kinky thick hair that is very wild and does it's own thing most of the time. It would easily take me over an hour to straighten it with my Chi iron and with this brush it only took me 25 min! I was shocked! I bought it thinking it wasn't going to work and I would just return it and buy the Head Kandy. I'm so glad it did because this is almost half the price! Do yourself a favor and buy one! You won't regret it!

Originally bought for my mother, she has wavy hair with soft curls and this brush straightened it perfectly. So I decided to give it a challenge with my head. My hair is extremely curly with TIGHT waves so I do have to try and blow dry it as straight as I can before I take a flat iron to it. I usually spend 2 & 1/2 hours straightening it and to my surprise this brush only took me 45 minutes to do my whole head!!!! There was no static either (only used a basic heat protectant spray with this) it got my annoying baby hairs very well. Before using this, I knew there was no way this was going to work and that I was most likely going to return it but now there is no way I will be sending this back! I 100% recommend you buy this asap!!!!

I originally bought this for my 12 year old with wild crazy kinky curly hair to "start" her hair before I flat ironed it for dance performances and competitions. A couple of weeks ago I realized I left our very expensive chi at home and this was all I had. I got to work thinking I'd do the best I could and then try to borrow someone else's. In half the time her hair was completely shiny and smooth and my hand wasn't cramping from squeezing g the flat iron together. Tips: you cannot simply brush this through your hair. I put the glove on my non dominant hand and held the hair with some tension. I divided it in sections. You can touch up the hair by just brushing it. She has some short broken pieces up front and I did need a flat iron for those. Like a hairbrush this will trap loose hairs and you need to remove them or this thing stinks like burning hair. I am 10 times more satisfied than I expected for the price.

Save yourself from wading throu the hundred of these straightener products, this ones your girl!! I admit that I had high hopes for this product. I have thick, wavy, kinked hair and to top it off I shower at night and go to sleep with a wet head. Before this product, when I woke up in the morning I would have to wet my hair a little then blow dry it "straight" which in reality it ended up a fluffier version of my waves. I would then brush my hair and seperate to begin flat ironing which took a lot of time and I used 2 flat irons. Lots of time was spent in the ironing process then eventually I had straight hair. This amazing creation has now changed my routine to; roll out of bed, brush out knots and I kid you not, (I timed it) it took me 3minutes 30 seconds and it was stick straight and ready for the day! You will not regret this buy!!!
