Not white but rather an off white

I like how the track lighting curves it doesn't look stiff like track lighting does. It is not white but rather an off white so I had to spray paint it a high gloss white to match my other lighting. I love it now!

These lights are great. Install was somewhat hard. The screws were really hard to get into the holes for the fixture but once they were in the rest was fine. Ignore the mess in the picture we were also putting in new flooring and painting.
Looks beautiful in the kitchen and love the color.

This "4 Light Adjustable Track Light" by Direct-Lighting is gorgeous and everything I hope that it would be. When the lights are turned on, the glass shades (I ordered the brown color) provides an elegant and attractive glow to this item.
According to the manufacturer, the proper installation requires in-wall wiring. However, with a little ingenuity and some modifications I was able convert this Hardwire light fixture Into a plug-in type! This was very necessary because I do not have any in wall wiring, and without such modifications, this track lighting would have been useless to me. For those who are considering purchasing this item but have the same dilemma as I did, I encourage you to do a Google and/or YouTube search and find out how to accomplish this process... It's much easier than you think.
My only gripe is this: While the supplied GU-10 LED bulb provided adequate light for reading, I was hoping that I would be able to replace these light bulbs with some much more brighter and energy-efficient LED bulbs. To my dismay, however, I was not able to find any suitable replacements because 'regular' GU-10 LED bulbs do not have the "back light design due to its technology," which means that the glass shades will not glow as pictured when the lights are turned on. This was a big let down but I guess I'll have to live with it for now.
Having said that, I will still rate this product five stars because the Direct-Lighting company is not at fault for this issue, IMO.

I bought these for a gallery room in my house which has a lot of artwork that covers the walls to the ceiling. This fixture was fairly easy for my husband to install and the lights are strong enough that they cover a lot of space. I really like the decorative glass covers as well.
