The 10g jar is the perfect size for the paints I need to store. I immediately wanted to see if they were going to keep the paint from drying out so I tested it by filling it with water, as shown in the photos. As long as the lid is completely tightened it doesn't leak at all. It is a little hard to unscrew after tightening all the way but nothing that I can't handle, just something to note. I hope the size comparison photos help because that's what concerned me when ordering, hope this helps!

I use these for lip balms but worried they would leak if not flat. What did I do? I put in my product, replaced the lid and placed it upside down on a paper towel (to see the oil better) outside in the Florida heat. I left it there for two days to see if it leaked and it did not. I didn't use the enclosed liners either. Nice touch adding in the waxy liners/top sealers. I would but these again for that reason alone.

Bought these for use as travel sized containers for liquid foundation, primer, moisturizer, etc. They are one size larger than product samples are dispensed in at department store makeup counters, Sephora, etc. At first I was disappointed that I had purchased a size larger than I was expecting. I had no idea from graphics exactly what size I was getting. But I think the larger size is actually more versatile than the sample size. It can house creams and other similar products that require larger application amounts than just foundation. Makeup remover, moisturizers, sunscreens, loose powder, etc. They are also extremely convenient for mixing different shades of identical foundations to achieve a custom shade. Having some 10g and some 5g jars would make for convenient dispensing of different products. There are a lot of jars for personal use, but I should have them for a lifetime.
