Great heat protection!

I've seen products similar to the Ove-Glove for some time and considered them. Recently we bought a gas grill and circled back to the idea. I was shocked at the price of the Ove-Glove for just one glove. So I went to Amazon to see what I could find and stumbled across these. I like that they come in a pair and the extra long arms come in handy when using these in the oven inside. I don't know if they're truly heat resistant to 932 degrees but they certainly have done the job for anything we've used them for so far. The only thing I would caution is that their effectiveness can be severely reduced when wet. That being said, this is true of any oven mitt and the packaging does give fair warning as such. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this pair of BBQ/Oven gloves and am glad I got them!

These were great until I burnt my hand getting my cast iron skillet out of the oven. I was baking a cornbread at 425F and I'm sure the actual temperature of the skillet was more than that. I wasn't worried about that because the description says heat resistant up to 932F. But inside the glove the tag says "maximum heat resistant temperature of 500F". I never looked at the tag until after I burnt my hand but by then my return window had closed. I will contact the seller to see if they will give me a refund.

I think they are thinner than I expected. Good fit on my hands. but what really worries me is included with in with the gloves in two languages was printed warning not to use on temps over 450 degrees? But advertised at 932?

While many of the reviews that state they can't hold a hot item for long periods of time are true (and possibly exaggerated), I've held items out of a 450 degree oven for sufficient time to transfer them casually to a resting surface, and barely felt the warmth creeping through. These gloves are, so far, my favorite oven mitts of any I've used (and I've been cooking for over 40 years).
The fit is perfect for me, I'm a man of 6'2" with average sized hands for my height (bigger than Trump's, LOL), so I can understand that folks with smaller hands might think these are too big which might also make them a little awkward. I would request of the manufacturer that they consider making both smaller and larger sizes, as I know that my step-son would love a pair of these but the gloves are a bit small for him, and I'm sure that a lot of people with smaller hands would appreciate a better fit as well.

I bought these to be able to carry a cast iron skillet of steaks from my patio inside to my oven without burning my hands in the process. They got the job done. I have fairly long fingers and wear a size 7 ring-they were rather large and bulky on me. With my hand size the grips help with large or heavier items like a cast iron skillet handle but they don't work well for anything small or hard to hold on to. The product title says up to 932 degrees but the tag inside the gloves says 500 degrees.
