Great Value Bino-Harness
Jacob Y✓ Verified Purchase•September 22, 2023
I use this harness with Bushnell L-Series 10X42 binos, they fit well with a little room to spare. This harness worked quite well for me during my elk hunt this year. The amount adjustability is great to get it positioned just right. I wore it with a full size backpack and it worked great. The quick buckle on the binocular straps are nice for quick detachment from the harness. I have no concerns with the quality, everything looks like it should last. The closure is the only semi-weak point; it works okay, but I can't figure out the need for the double loop, I think one elastic loop would have worked just fine and would be easier to open to close. I did a lot of searching for a harness in this price point, I didn't see anything else that comes close.
Solid. Appears to be great value.

Well made, and appears to be pretty durable. Straps and buckles are solid. Has small bino retaining straps that come off of the main strap to hold the binos and it works perfectly. I like the closure mechanism which is easy to open and latch back closed. I like that the back X is not overly large. It's big enough to be comfortable but small enough that it doesn't create a large hot spot on my back. It also doesn't get in the way of my pack and chafe like the other brands that have the HUGE X on the back. The accessory pocket on one side is nice, but it's a bit small. My tiny wind indicator bottle (Primos) BARELY fits in there. My ONE complaint, which is minimal, is that when the top is cinched down it makes the sides of the case bend outward a little which creates a small gap on each side of the case where the top flap doesnt cover. It the flap was 1/4" wider this wouldn't be an issue at all. It might be different with larger binos than mine. I've got Steiner 10x42 Merlin binos. They fit perfectly in the case. Very happy overall.
EDIT** - After using the bino case for about 8 solid days of archery hunting I've got some additional thoughts about this bino case. It's loud... LOUD. Opening it isn't so bad. But you have to be pretty slow and deliberate to keep it from making noise. Hold the flap tight because if you let it go it flops down and the plastic on the elastic slaps and makes a loud thump. The material scraping on brush of any kind is horribly loud and unnatural. It's hot. When the weather is nice and the temps are up I'd go with just a X strap and leave the case. It holds a lot of heat in. When it's cold and bad weather it wouldn't be an issue. I'm still happy with it. I'll just change the way I use it. I'll use it for rifle hunting, but not archery.

Modify the closure tab and it's perfect

Bought this harness before for an elk hunt out west. It's a good harness for the money. Fits my Vortex Diamondback 10x42 perfectly. Fits well, rides well and is pretty comfy to wear for long days. Covered 73 miles on that particular hunt and carried this every mile. It performed well. The "clasp system" sucks, as the bungy closure broke on day 3. I tied it back together, shortening it some, and it worked better like that. Spot for wind smoke is nice and front zipper pouch allows to carry reed calls. Glass cleaning cloth is nice as well. Overall, I recommend it and will be carrying it on my local deer and turkey hunts in Arkansas moving forward.
Liked it so much we bought 2

Bought it to use while scouting for my wife's elk hunt. I liked it so much I got one for her too. Worked great for the hunt. Comfortable and sturdy. I liked the pouch in back for my phone. Easy access to check time and OnX maps I used the side pouch for windicator (I use milkweed fluff pushed down in there). Looped my lanyard for my cow call through the other side bottom loop and tucked the call right in the top loop.
Great product... Fast shipping...
