I was very surprised at how great this box sounds. When you mic it up it is even better. I played an outdoor acoustic duo gig at a nice local marina last night and it was the perfect tool for that setting. Had nice little muffled punch without annoying the folks enjoying their meals. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it had a small ding on the top front ridge edge. The packaging is really done nicely and their was no damage to the packing at all so the ding had to happen at the factory before being boxed up to ship. It doesn't affect the sound but when you get something new like this you would like to be the on that puts the dings in it, not the manufacturer. That aside, you will love this little gizmo.

I wasn't sure what to think when I first set it up, but it's added so much to our worship team and music as we don't have a drummer. I can play this while leading on guitar or even when I lead on the piano.
We are now able to play songs that we stayed away from because of lack of a drummer and that bass beat (ie. Build Your Kingdom Here by Rend Collective).

I play guitar and wanted to start playing on the street. This thing works fine for what it is. If you kick hard, it will rattle quite a bit, especially if you kick and let the beater bounce off. Light dead blows are how you get good bass tone, but you can't get too loud with that tact. Playing with loud electric guitar you don't really notice that too much though. On a smooth surface the box slowly shimmies away as you use the pedal. Add on a heel tambourine and you got more than enough percussion for accompanying yourself.
I love it, it's kind of addictive.

If you are one of those people who's always tapping your feet to music, you'll love this. It's addictive, and very easy to play. It is tricky to strum and instrument, sing, and play independently, but with practice it happens. It's well made, plenty loud, and easy to operate. Five Stars.
