The only thing I'd say is the clamp that holds it in place is a little weak but nothing a carpet can't fix you but other than that it's great Im really enjoying it for 30 dollars you can't go wrong with it

Update: The company/distributor made good on this and acknowledged a mixup in the product listing. Upgraded to 4-stars based on the price:value you get with this pedal. As already I mentioned below, most pedals are the same in how they perform. Unless you're a touring professional that has equipment paid for by a band/production company, it's absurd to overpay by a factor of four to ten for a bass pedal that's only marginally better and carries a more recognizable name badge.
First off this is a bait and switch because what I received doesn't have the pictured/claimed hinge bearings. It's a standard hinge pin.
Without that expectation, it seems okay otherwise as a starter pedal. Without using it for an extended amount of time, I can't speak to its long term durability, but it does seem to work fine as a pedal.
Too many drummers get wrapped around the axle about their favorite overpriced/overrated make/model of pedal. Much of it is nonsense. These are essentially disposable. Get two and have a backup. Do we really need to spend hundreds of dollars for a pedal?! It's no secret anymore on how to make a decent pedal. If you're after a brand name to look cool to the groupies by all means spend $500+ on a pedal. For the hobbyist drummer, this is just fine.
