I have a few of those traditional brother label makers. Always thought why brother doesn't improve them and make them easier to use. Now this "DYMO MobileLabeler Label Maker" is the answer to that.
1. Using smartphones to create and edit labels makes everything so easier to do.
2. With phones, you can create labels of all kinds symbols and non=english words as long as your phones have ways to input them.
3. Able to use 1-inch large labels is a big big plus.
4. Using BlueTooth tech to connect to phones makes things simple.
Should have bought it earlier.

Terrible Battery Life

If you look at the pictures practically every one shows the label printer being used on battery.
BUT, the battery life in this really sucks. If you don't have it connected to the charger and just let it sit for a day without printing anything the battery is dead the next day.
Also, if you print with it using battery it will go from full (2 bars) to half full (1 bar) after just a few labels.
So, if you want to use it on the go, you MUST take the charger with you. Which defeats the purpose of it running off a rechargeable battery.
I have 2 of these and they both act the same. As a desk label printer that is always plugged in it works great. But if you think you are going to get portability with it by using the batteries, forget it: Look elsewhere.

I researched labelers for a long time before selecting this product. In fact, I spent WAY too much time looking, comparing, reading reviews, watching videos, and comparing prices. This one does everything I want: can print wide labels (up to 1 inch); rechargeable battery for portability; can work over Bluetooth for app-based printing or connected to a PC via USB. The app on iPhone is OK and could use some improvement, but it is not bad at all. I haven't tried the PC connection yet. The only compliant - and I think others have mentioned this - is that the device does not automatically connect to the phone when the device powers on. You have to go to Settings and connect it. There could be good reasons for that, but I'm not sure.
Mobile software is not great. Bluetooth connections are flakey

Losing the display did not make this much smaller than my Dymo Rhino. If you do not use the desktop software to change the bluetooth behavior, this will constantly sit in pairing mode. Even with the adjustment, it seems that i am constantly removing and re-pairing the printer. I mostly use the desktop app with my laptop and a USB 3 connection, as it is just easier, and the label making software on the phone is difficult to use without a stylus. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, but the software lets it down.

Reasonable price. I used to organize my greeting cards but can be used for anything. I even printed off a little congrats sticker for my mom doing some scrapbooking. Comes with 10' of white 1" label, plugs to power on, USB cable to charge battery and one battery. Worked well out of box, downloaded DYMO app and printed within 10 minutes of receiving package! Easy to use. Great print quality. App gets stuck between switch of label size but I just closed out and it printed fine. Easy to pair with my iPhone. I love the fonts that are available. Easy to switch labels in machine and easy to open, charge and use!
