Currently the best device on the market for its form-factor!

Before I start...
I would like to point out that the majority of the negative reviews here about the device are from people who...
1) Bought the device impulsively and haven't done any research AT ALL.
2) Haven't configured their device properly out of the box for proper performance.
3) Or are unrealistic, ignorant, and don't acknowledge the specifications of the device.
Because taking into account what is known, stated, and written about the device...The GPD WIN "ISN'T" a high-end tyrant desktop PC that can run every single AAA game on the market. However, for its form-factor and size, it's currently the BEST on the market. There is no device this small that is currently capable of its caliber, until the GPD WIN 2 releases.
With that being said, when I received my device, it was packaged extremely well. I had not one problem with my device. If I ever did have a problem, it was one that I was already aware of and knew how to fix beforehand, because I did my research on the device and I know its flaws. Not only was I impressed with how fast the shipping was, the packaging of my device, and the device itself. I was also VERY impressed with the IMMACULATE customer service of LANRUO. Out of all my years of purchasing online, LANRUO is probably the best I've seen so far! I love my device!

It broke 3 days after the 30 day return policy. It was to good to be true, played most games on low settings. Ill never buy from this company again, I mean it lasted only 30 days!!!

Excellent portable game machine. Incredible that it runs Win 10 on such a small device. Love the dedicated game controls and the new aluminum lid is a huge plus. Micro SD card slot is so important when loading most large games - glad this has one. Super-fast shipping and excellent customer service from LANRUO. Highly recommended.
Does not turn on at all (Updated)

Update (26AUG17):
After contacting customer service with the company, they gave a speedy response. They provided some troubleshooting help, sadly this did not fix the issue. They believe it may have been a bad battery in the system. I am now getting an exchange for my current GPD Win for a another one.
Customer service is very nice and quite helpful.
When I get my new GPD Win and it works properly, I will be raising my review to 5 Stars.
Initial Post (25AUG17):
I got my GPD WIN Aluminum version yesterday. But Straight out of the box, "Brand New", it doesn't even turn on!!
I press the power button and only a blue light came on and nothing else. The screen remains off, no back-light or anything, and the fan doesn't kick on. There is no sound either. I tried to see if needed to charge, so i plugged it in with the cord and charger it came with. This is just made the light phase in and out from blue to purple for a while. After an hour or so plugged in, it just showed a solid blue light. Plugging it in did nothing it seems.
After unplugging and pressing power again, the same issue as before showed. a solid blue light with no screen or anything else on.
I tried Holding the power button for a minute repeatedly to see if this would turn it on properly. Again this did nothing.
I will change my rating, once the GPD Win starts working properly.

Solid unit but terrible shoulder buttons

I've been fairly happy with this machine. It can handle games like Skyrim and Fallout 3 without a hitch. Currently playing Black Mesa and having no issues. My only complaint is the should buttons. Particularly R2 with has some internal "ridge" causing a need to press really hard or change the angle of the super loose button. I haven't decided if this is a deal breaker or not. As I mainly got this as a gaming unit the shoulder button are very important. Will update if I return. If anyone has any tips, let me know.
UPDATE: I replaces the unit and the new one has way better shoulder buttons. I've been happily gaming PC and emulators. Very impressed compared to the open pandora handheld system. PSP runs very well. Haven't tried dolphin and PS2 but youtube vids show promise. Anything older work perfectly.
