Some very nice steps
John✓ Verified Purchase•August 12, 2023
These steps are very nice and very sturdy. Before you order them you are supposed to go to Morryde's web site and download their qualifier. This is nothing more than a work sheet for you to figure out if the steps will fit for your application. I only gave four stars because after following all their guide and talking with a tech person at Morryde the steps I ordered would not fit. It seems that the 3/8 measurement for the door clearance should not include the small lip that our threshold had. Not counting that lip made my threshold 1/2 inch which did not meet their 5/8 to 3/4 inch requirement.
That being said Morryde has a fantastic service department and after several back and froths their engineer came up with a solution for me. All in all I highly recommend these steps. Once you use them you will not be without them. Just pay very strict attention to their qualifier. Once a solution was hashed out for me installation took all of 20 minutes

Simple Upgrade

I did not set out to upgrade to these steps when traveling up to Yellowstone. However, after an unfortunate run-in with a light pole, the upgrade was a no brain-er. I ordered these and had them delivered to West Yellowstone RV park. I was able to install these steps within about 30 minutes while at the park and between hikes. It was a very simple install. I'm very happy with these steps. They are very sturdy and easy to tuck away in the door. The *only* negative that I can see with these steps is that I have to fully open the door to get into the trailer (i.e. if I were parked in a parking lot or somewhere that I could not fully open my door, I wouldn't be able to get into the trailer). I don't really see that as being a realistic concern. I'm very happy with my upgrade.
Mor-ryde Staircase and handrail for RV

A great purchase well worth the money. We bought at a great price $60 off through FB Ad from Amazon. The staircase fit perfectly. The RV doors (including the screen door) close with ease; the doors do not rub when opening or closing. The staircase fits the RV right out of the box. We did not remove the existing RV 3 step stair. We also installed the handrail that was easy to attach to the staircase. Installation for all took about 15 to 20 minutes total. Installed on a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 5th Wheel.
Measure and buy

MEASURE! !! This does NOT give sizes on actual spec page so call customer service for sure fit.
Sturdy beyond expectations! ! It has made the trailer move less when coming up the stairs. These are definitely stairs not steps. Sooo much better. BUT returning them cost almost as much as the entire stairs!! We ended up driving 6 hrs (one way) to pick up the correct size at Camping World. We have a 4 step wide door stairs for sale in box... They also arrived timely and perfect packaging. Yes, they ARE easy to lift.

Bottom line, it's a well designed and well-built product, and it's Made in America. My only issue was the screen door. I had to remove the fuzz strip at the bottom to close the door. If the door installer would have installed the screen a bit higher, it wouldn't have been an issue.
As most people are saying, quick easy install. The only thing I wish the mfg would include would be a spacer template. A simple cardboard/wood/plastic piece that is 15/16" wide and about a foot long would have been SO much easier to use than trying to spot the small line on my tape measure. It's 15/16, not an inch, or 3/4, but 15/16. Trying to align this big object, centering it on the door opening and parallel to my door sill at 15/16" sucks. My eyes suck, I'm getting old. But this is the worse that I can say. Everything else was a breeze. Sorry, one last gripe, they could have cleaned off all the metal shavings from the cutting and screwing. It's a minor thing, but metal splinters suck too.
This is a good investment. I feel like I am using concrete steps. It feels that secure and robust. Better than wood steps that still creak.
One major issue I used to have with the old steps was scraping the back of my Achilles stepping down and rubbing on the sharp edge of the steps. THESE STEPS ARE ROUNDED AND SMOOTH. All aluminum extrusion. Safe, secure, and built in the US.
