I wouldn't do brain surgery with them but should work for fishing, hobbies, etc. Arrived with Prime in 2 days, the day they arrived the price dropped 15%. Made in Pakistan.
Inexpensive, sound product for household use.

Hemostats for less than $2.00 each. Yes they work. They are shiny metal, imported I am sure. But these are ideal for certain tasks around the house. Hair in the bathroom sink drain, no longer draining quickly? Pulled the drain stopper out and used one of these to pull gobs of hair out. Then used Drain Opener for the S trap. Problem solved. Same deal with the pool vac - pulled leaves out. They have reach and lock. I suppose some people might use these to remove fish hooks, or, hold roaches for their final burn.
Cheap but useful little tools.

Cheaply made but appear to do the job. I could lock and release all of them fine, but the finish is not of high quality. It does not look like the base metal was polished smooth before the chrome was applied - or whatever gives them the shiny appearance. For the price, however, I can't say that I am too disappointed in them so far. I haven't used them very much so far, so cannot speak to their durability. I received three with curved noses and three with straight noses.

The pictures show 3 straight and 3 curved hemostats. I received 4 curved ones (all different sizes) and 2 straight ones. They are all chrome plated, some are better made then others. The teeth fit together well on all of them however the force to lock them varied. I wouldn't use them for surgery but they are perfectly fine for hobby use.

I use these primarily for sewing, splicing and whipping the lines on the boat. They work very well and are well made.
