I'm using the SpongeBob theme so right now I have Gary the snail Larry what should be a lobster but he's a snail and I'm waiting on a white one to come her name will be pearl which was a whale, Perfect little critters arrived safe Package and a quarter pint container with a paper towel and a quarter of inch of water put them in the tank went to the bottom and then they were off cruising the tank like there's no tomorrow I hear that they do sleep for up to 30 hours I googled them they can breed but They like to breed on land ,,,but if you have more than a an inch or two to spare that's dry of no water on top of your tank it can happen it will look like a cocoon ,there as well they are very very pretty at the moment the size of a nickel bright yellow popped their little heads out the fish were curious ,They went up to them but did not bother them I have African cichlids my pH is high which My tanks are I am likely to purchase more I'm waiting on a white one ...there speedy buzzing all over the tank, not likely to breed in captivity but it can happen I'm hoping to wait till they get big I may be saying things but I swear they grew overnight definitely buy a 5+ Star,I also think mine are boys you can tell Google it red horns are here I had I also think Mina boys you can tell Google
Beautiful Golden Mystery Snail

UDPATE:
It has been a little over 5 months, and I found this guys shell empty in my tank. Obviously he died. Rather disappointing that it died so soon. My tank is very well taken care of, and my plants and fish just thrive in it. Lowering my rating from 5 stars to 3 because of the short lifespan. Kind of sad to see him gone, he was a colorful addition to the community tank.
I ordered this little guy to go in a 12g Fluval Edge to help keep it clean. He arrived in plastic fluid specimen jar. I just hope it was a fresh, unused jar, and not one that had a "sample" in it! The snail is a beautiful golden orange, and is fitting in well with his tankmates. He is not very active, yet, but makes his way around the tank pretty fast for a snail when he does move. He likes to burrow into the substrate, and has actually moved several large marimo moss balls several inches from where they were.
If you have an algae problem, or want to get ahead of one in a new tank, I highly recommend ordering this little guy from this seller. Fast shipping, and packed well.
UPDATE:
The snail is doing great in his new home! I added 3 new pictures of it up close. Very pretty colors and a nice, bright addition to my tank.

Arrived alive and early

Despite the USPS's terrible treatment of the package marked FRAGILE, Gary made it to us safe and sound. He arrived in a baggie of water and remained tucked away in his shell for a few hours after being added to my child's Spongebob themed aquarium. Gary has since made himself at home and is already getting to work cleaning the tank. 10/10 would buy again.
Happy and healthy

I was so worried about not paying for the faster shipping :( and to make it worse they were put in my mail box! So definitely keep a close eye on their arrival. To my releif they made it just fine and in great condition. Bright yellow and active within a few minutes of adding them to the tank. My pair is very small, between a dime and a nickel. They get big so don't be fooled by these cute little nuggets
Energetic fun addition

Arrived in great condition in small amt of water in plastic bag in box.
'Sally' is very energetic travelling over plants, gravel, aquarium sides with more speed than i expected. She's a bright yellow.
Whether 'she's' a Sally or Sam, I dont know, but no need to and 'Sally' just seems to stick.
A week later:
This may sound crazy, but 'Sally' snail is one of the most intriguing members of my aquarium community!! 'She' covers every square inch of 20 gal h tank, each plant, each glass side, ornamental driftwood, all of gravel substrate with amazing throughness and speed. Yes, speed...for a snail, that really surprised me. I'm never sure where I'll see her next and then see her far removed when I look away for a moment.
So, as well as for the algae removing job being done, it seems this snail is a great addition for entertainment value.
Can't believe I'm writing to praise a SNAIL. Kudos to the variety of our natural world's creatures.
