I don't really have an opinion yet. I purchased this product to use on a octagon-shaped children's table used in our church nursery. Someone else installed the bumper cushion strip. Since the corners are not the usual 90 degree angle, it was a little tricky/loose at the corners and it may have to be reinforced. I have yet to try the installed product with a group of active children but my hope is that it will prevent head injuries when a child climbs under the table. The tape does not reach very far under. However, it has to be better than the bare table edges.

This is thick and provides great cushion to edges and side or furniture, however, it was a pain that the siding wasn't already lined with tape and you have to do it yourself. Plus it's very easy to rip off and leaves a sticky residue on the furniture, which u have o scrub off vigorously.

I did not order this for kid protection, but my own comfort. My rv has a table and bench that are pretty uncomfortable. I ordered several items to try to get some of the discomfort to go away. Thankfully non of them worked, this is soft and comfortable and gives a good amount of padding. Thankful for sure

This product was a great fit for the top and bottom edges of our mantle and the corners, which had very sharp and hard corners. Both grandchildren had banged their heads on the corners -- one quite hard. We haven't "tested" it with grandchildren running by, but I'm confident it will guard against a serious injury. The color blends in nicely with the colored tile. It was very easy to cut and apply for a perfect fit. Worked great covering the sharp corners of my coffee table to protect the baby's head from falls or bumps. The edging is not obtrusive and offers a good deal of protection for not being bulky and puffy. Installation is easy and looks pretty good. The color did match my table so that helped.
