Basic scanner that works well and is small enough to be portable

I bought this to carry with my laptop, since I sometimes need to scan in stacks of forms for work. It is a good basic scanner - small enough to be portable in a computer bag and scans reliably. I just need it to read barcodes, so I did not want to spend a lot of money for a scanner with extra features that I do not use.

first let me say this device does EXACTLY what it says it does and its good at it plus if you scan a product into the google address bar this will send you to info on said product. sadly I needed this to manage inventory in the back office at work and our system auto adds the 0's for the full barcode this device tho only adds what is on the package it's self so yeah not what I need but if you are doing inventory or cataloging items that only need the barcode as it appears on the package I would recommend this scanner

Did not like the quality of this scanner. The barcode of one product reads close, for the second it is necessary to keep the product at a distance of 25-30 cm. Some codes do not read at all. And the scanner is generally of the wrong model, written in 2012
