The seed, the indedible part, has not been completely removed. My first sour BBQ. I've heard about jackfruit as a meat substitute... but this did not have that consitency. It was more like pineapple.

I love this product! I have tried other Upton's bbq jackfruit twice and it was awful in my opinion. I wanted it plain so I could make my own sauce.
Behold what I was looking for! I have made bbq and taco shreds with it so far. It takes on the seasonings it is cooked in so well. It's soo damn good! I am glad I found it on Amazon because I can't find it anywhere in stores.
