Good but Inconsistent

I have ben using this protein powder for a couple of years. When i first started using it I really loved, but over the last year there have been some issues that have made me stop using it. I love the vanilla chai flavor and the cappuccino isn't as bad as you would think if you like coffee flavored things. My first issue is the inconsistency in the texture of the powder. Some tubs the powder would be loose and the chai flavor was very pronounced, then in others the powder was more like sand and it just tasted like vanilla with no spice at all. Also about 4 months ago they changed the formula. It no longer has a mixture of different proteins, it now just has whey protein, and the BCAA's are virtually non existent. I do like that it has other nutrients in it and works great as a meal replacement. However, since the protein is whats most important I will probably switch over to Muscle Pharm's other protein powder that they market for men.
I like to add frozen fruit to a vanilla or banana ...

bring back banana cream please!!! I like to add frozen fruit to a vanilla or banana flavored protein powder. Now I'm stuck with chocolate chai. Just not the same experience. Won't buy this as often as I did the banana cream.

Doesn't really control appetite, tastes waaaayyyy too sweet. I'll probably have to try this blended with something else that isn't sweet because it is just way too sweet for me to drink on its own. This kind of defeats the purpose as I was planning on drinking this on its own.

Vanilla Chai is the flavour I bought. It tastes really good mixed with almond milk. But kinda leaves a rubbery after taste in your mouth after awhile that makes it taste like you were chewing on an old car tire. I added a picture that shows the container was not completely full... so I probably won't be ordering again unless it works well. And I'll probably order the smaller size in hopes of actually getting the amount I paid for.

Chai flavor tastes good! I add extra cinnamon because it's kind of mild, but still good. I only mix my protein w/ milk so I don't know how it would taste w/ water. Probably would be too mild....
