These casings is so versatile. Being from South Africa, we miss so much of "our" food from home. With these casings my mom make boere wors (sausage) and droë wors (dried sausage) from scratch on a regular basis. The casings never bust open (when worked with) or split open on the grill.

Best casings I've bought so far from many different brands. Nice long length to each piece and out of the entire hank I found 2 small holes that we were able to work around. Probably one of the best things about these is that thanks to being brined, that offensive offal smell typical in salt packed casings is almost completely absent and goes completely away after soaking and rinsing.
Between pepperoni, hot dogs, brats, italian sausage, andouille, and polish sausage we stuffed over 60lbs of meat this past weekend without a single blowout from linking or tying...these casings are sturdy enough to handle even my ham handedness.
These will absolutely be our gotos from now on.
