I need to keep multiple laptops and tablets available for my computer forensics and video production work.

Until now, I had kept the machines in a topless file transfer box with a mass of cables and AC adapters.

While apparently intended for classroom use, this Charging Station looked like it might be successfully repurposed for my needs.

It most certainly can.

The unit is well-constructed of what I assume is steel. It is large "“ very large "“ and heavy. Even though I had seen photos of the unit, the size still surprised. Right now, it sits on a table until I can find a couple of people to mount it on the wall, if I can find a space to fit it into.

Two nicely designed plastic baskets are included, each intended to hold five 13-inch or smaller devices. There is also a separator rack, which is what I am using for laptops and tablets.

The top slides off to reveal two banks of AC outlets. You plug your AC adapters into the ten outlets and pull the cables through a cleverly designed channel into the cage beneath and you're ready to go.

There is an AC port accessible on the outside and a lock hasp.

Overall, it's easy to see the utility of this unit in classrooms. For my rather unusual needs, it is also well suited. I have five computers that I use for video and audio production and it's really nice to have them neatly held in one place, charged and ready to go. The size of the case is an issue for me, though, and in my crowded home "studio", space is at a premium.

Other than that personal caveat, this is a great way to store and charge laptop computers and tablets.

This charging station is very useful for simultaneously charging and securely storing multiple devices like computers, tablets, cell phones etc. Classrooms, businesses, offices where devices/ laptops need to be stored securely are some of the places where this charging station can be very practical.

There are 10 AC charging outlets in each box. It comes with two baskets, but carrying multiple devices in each basket can be fairly heavy. The box is very heavy, and although it can be mounted on the wall, I wish it had wheels.

Outstanding size and capacity, this charging station locks up 10 different devices (or more if you use smaller devices with multiple USB ports on a single plug.) It comes with two keys and a normal lock as well. It can be mounted on a wall, but I found it heavy so I left it down. The two baskets work with laptops, but tablets were too big so I have them in the bottom instead.

We use this charging station to neatly organize and store laptops in my husband's classroom. The unit is very well constructed and extremely heavy.
It is a locking case to keep the equipment safe while not in use. The unit has two baskets to separate and organize your tablets and laptops while charging. It conveniently accommodates adapters and cables. It is a good quality product and a solid investment to store your valuable equiment.
