We ordered a twin to use in the nursery for baby #2 arriving this summer; I plan to room in with baby in the nursery so we can start her off in the crib from day 1. That said, I have NOT yet slept on this over night, but wanted to give an initial review, then will follow up once I've started using the mattress regularly.

Pros: It arrived as scheduled, which was within about a week of ordering. The box looked quite beat up upon arrival, but the mattress inside was well wrapped in thick plastic and in perfect condition. It sprung open and unrolled easily, and was nearly full thickness within a few minutes. We did let it expand for a couple of days to make sure the top foam filled out well, and it did. It *looks* like a nice mattress. The fabric is very soft and stitching seems to be sturdy on all areas. It has a nice soft top layer with good bounce but seems very supportive. I've laid down on it for brief periods and find it very comfortable.

Meh: Even for a twin size, the rolled up mattress is quite heavy. I was glad to have help to carry it upstairs. There is indeed a mild chemical odor in the materials, however this is not overpowering. I have pregnancy nose, but I have to get my face right up on the mattress to smell it. I am glad that we bought it ahead of time though, so it will have plenty of time to air out before being in the same room as a newborn and before I need to sleep on it. Others have commented about the ability to feel the springs. In some areas, I can see what they mean, however when laying down I don't find this to be noticeable. This is something I will look out for once I start sleeping on it and will update about.

Cons: The claims for being organic and "green foam certified" appear to be complete puffery. There is NO content/materials label attached to the mattress stating its origin, a description of materials, or anything else like you might see on a standard mattress or other furniture/textile bought at a store in the US. The only label is the Oliver Smith label as shown in the product photo. There was no information enclosed with the mattress, either. The box was so gross and beat up we took it out to the recycling immediately, so I did not notice if any information was printed outside. "Green Foam Certified" is not a real thing, according to almighty Google. I would have bought this mattress anyway, but I feel like that should be pointed out for others.

I'm glad we bought it and I look forward to using it and giving an update based on regular use. Mean time we do have some family coming to visit and guests will get to try it out first. It looks nice enough and the price and convenience have so far made it worthwhile.

I have nothing but good things to say

I received this mattress in September 2017. I have nothing but good things to say. I am a plus size woman, and the mattress has retained its shape without sagging, unlike many other mattresses. It is very comfortable, with some firmness. I use a mattress topper and it's perfect. For the price, I would highly recommend. I will be purchasing another mattress for my guest room.

I absolutely adore this mattress, i have had limbar issues for a few years and i am 26. i really appreciate the price of this matteess and the quality. i purchased the full size, 12" mattress with the eurotop. it was a last resort, turned out to be a huge blessing for me! i dont wake up tossing and turning, i dont wake up grumpy. i wake up on my own feeling rested and my back not sore for the first time in years. THANK YOU! please let me know if your company creates any 4" mattress pads that are machine washable! (thank you)
