I had a Sunbeam countertop oven- chosen because it was bigger. But the quality was terrible - the racks would fall if you had anything slightly heavy . This Breville oven has the quality of a full size oven, and all of the features . I never use my big oven. Love this oven !

Run don't walk to switch to the new Breville Smart Oven Air...I had the mid model, Breville Smart Oven, is still working great after 5 years..but the Air feature and have twin convections going in one machine intrigued me...I had all but given up fried foods as the grease was too much for my stomach anymore...I have already had two batches of Air fries from russet potatoes and am hooked...(cut them fuller, not as shoestring, tho shoestring will prob work, just watch your cooking time..)...after Air cooking the spuds cut up into normal size strips, i toss them with some sort of salt/pepper/steak seasoning mix then lightly drizzle with olive oil...so good, just worth the upgrade for that..but the slow cook feature also very much appeals to me as often peruse the bargain bin my local market and often find german pot roast for at least 50% off and also good pork tenderloin...I marinated the pork a day, then slow cooked it till an internal temp of 145 and was out of this world...nice golden top and bottom layer and so moist...Breville has many appliances in my kitchen, but I am going to use this often. I make Italian muffins in some mornings, so either the toast or bagel modes will work....this model has a light inside the oven so you can see progress, which is a great upgrade feature. As others have said, its big, plan on it and it does put out heat...I have a small kitchen so I have placed it on a SS table, with drawers and a lower rack...so its central and very handy...

Love it; so much more convenient than heating up a huge oven.
