I live in Wyoming we get quite a bit of snow and ice and when I walk my dogs these cleats worked the best especially on ice can't beat it for the price!

The media could not be loaded. As seen on the video I tried them on Central Park's bridle path which is presently covered with packed ice. It made my walk very safe and enjoyable! The traction is amazing; it is money well spent as i was feeling miserable not being able to go walk or jog because of the ice!

If you are expecting the type of thing that is used in mountaineering then this is not what you want. However, these work great for what they were made for. We get a couple feet or more of snow ever winter and the sidewalks and driveways develop 2 or more inches of compact snow and ice. I used this for waling the dog and I have no fear of ever slipping. They stay on the shoes no problem. i would have given 5 stars but there is no instructions that come with them. If there were that would help people figure out how to properly install them on their shoes. These shoe spike are made for left and right shoes and takes a bit of trial and error to figure out who to put the toe strap on correctly.
