nice, standard type step in harness. I got the small size and I wish I could have purchased an extra small on my 11 lb Pomeranian since he fell on the cusp of the smallest size. You can't really get the harness as small as possible because of the rubberized logo tag on the harness. It wouldn't
be a problem for a larger dog but I'd recommend sizing down if your dog is on the smaller side of the size spectrum because of this. My dog can't escape it but I can see it being a problem for Wiley dogs.
Also find the plastic "stoppers" are not for that at all. They freely slide around like an accessory rather than serving a purpose. It doesn't effect my use since my dog is small and doesn't pull, but for a stronger or more determined dog I can see the buckles loosening.

The only reason this got even one star is because the color is pretty. I purchased the large, since my lab mix has a chest measurement of 28 ". However, the neck couldn't be tightened enough, even when I removed the logo to try to make it fit. There was at least a 3" gap around. Also, it took about 5 minutes to get her into it. I felt like I needed instructions. And it would be nicer if the ring attachment could have been in the front instead of up on her back. I finally gave up and now I just use my other dog's harness on her, which is so very simple and works great. What a waste of money!

Could be good for milder, leash-trained dogs

Note: Our determined, 8-month old, short-legged, 34lb beagle mix is still leash-training, though getting better. This harness seems to work well when dog is good at staying with or ahead of its human (as is case when husband walks ours in the am), but when I've walked him at night and he's gotten distracted or fallen behind, he's had NO trouble pulling out of this TWICE in two weeks. So we've replaced it with the model we had before, but which--because other dogs still scare him-- he had tugged hard enough on over 4-5 months to completely tear the connector rings from the harness. Husband likes this one just fine; I feel more confident with another style while still leash-training.
