Excellent Non-GMO US Birch Xylitol!

This is an excellent & superior 100% USA birch tree xylitol product! Xylitol actually benefits health human dental, bone & gut health as well as having overall health benefits. If you're new to using xylitol, it is important to introduce it to your system s-l-o-w-l-y, as in maybe 1 tsp or less per day till you adjust to it, otherwise you may experience gastrointestinal distress in the way of a laxative effect as well as flatulence. It's also EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to BEWARE XYLITOL is DEADLY to PETS! This is my biggest criticism of this product as it isn't marked on this packaging! It's extremely toxic to dogs and will cause an extreme drop in blood sugar levels, resulting in coma and death from liver destruction! I therefore want to warn households the have dogs that tend to steal treats from countertops, tables or are unconsciously given treats, that you may want to go with another product called erythritol which won't cause this type of threat to your dog's health/life.

First time to try xylitol, so can't make a comparison, neither some health benefit (who knows if it's perfectly safe in regard of all the brouhaha about stevia, etc.)
The granules and taste seem okay to me, but it's not as sweet that, if I add this up to the point of my desired sweetness, the calorie counts go up too high since It's not a no calorie sweetener.
I won't return these since I am not a huge fan of returning stuff, but I will try a different brand next time.

I lost weight using this sweetener, but be forewarned.
Do not let your pets especially cats and dogs have any of this stuff, it will kill them. Dogs cannot process this sweetener, so they go in a hypoglycemic shock.
