Advertised white color is actually an off white ivory

These doorstops work just fine on wood floors by stopping regular household doors from slowly closing by themselves. However, their color is an off white ivory and not white, so they don't match well with my white doors. If getting doorstops that are white is important to you, don't buy these. If you're more interested in value and medium weight, good-sized doorstops that will probably do the trick, these are a good buy.

I needed a door stopper at work. No big deal ... next time I'm at the store I will get one. My drug store didn't have them. Target ? No. Looked at other stores ... no one had them. Went to Amazon. ... there they were! Even come in colors! Delivery was just a few days ... price was reasonable. Thank you! In this high tech, overpriced world we stll need affordable, low tech items to keep a door open. Thank you. !

As a heads-up for dog owners, these may be an appealing treat for your buddy. The size, material, and fact that it was on the ground probably made my dog think this was a toy or treat for him. He's very good about not chewing on things that are not "for him", so it was a shock to find one doorstop missing, and another partially chewed. One trip to the emergency vet later, and we found out where the doorstop had went...
Good for doors.

Door stoppers may be old fashioned but they get the job done nicely. I had been using a box with canned drinks inside before, to keep our cat out of my room when I wanted peace. The cat learned to push the door open with that box but not now with the door stoppers.

It will stop your door. I had several doors that needed them with different heights and these are taller stoppers so they worked well. I needed from 1/2" to over an 1". I like that they blend with my decor, seem sturdy and do the trick of holding the door open on carpet, tile and wood.
