I got this in order to slowly introduce a new cat. I have at least a two inch space at the bottom of my door. My other cats were able to push through the door.
It works in the sense that it holds the door.

Two issues. Firstly, it always topple ending up on its side and it is difficult to pop it back up by foot. Secondly, both pieces of rubber veneer peel off rendering it useless. Mine peels off after a month of use.

The only doorstop I could find for my door with a large 2 1/2" gap to the floor. It has a strong spring and rubber on both sides that grip nicely
