seems high quality. I don't have any complaints. The inside of the mortal and the grinding end of the pestal don't seem to be as highly polished as I expected but I presume their is a reason for this. For the price it seems to be excellent value. I've only used it a few times. I will update if I find I am unsatisfied in any capacity.
