This mobile base is somewhat light duty for the job. Not sure if I would buy again. I have an older shop smith 10er on this mobile base and it doesn't roll as smooth as I would like it to. I have purchased woodcraft wood river mobile bases in the past and they are much heavier duty. Would have purchased the wood river again but it seems it is no longer made😩. The only advantage the pm has over the wood river is price about $15.
A good buy to move shop equipment.

I bought this for my band saw- and then I discovered that Rikon makes one for the saw- that doesn't require any work. Oh well. This requires a sheet of 3/4" plywood the size of the base. No problem- I measured carefully the size of the base, and cut the plywood. Then I mounted the VERY HEAVY, VERY STRONG wheels and hardware to it- and now have a very functional and excellent mobile base. I"m really glad that I didn't buy the Rikon- It might be as good or better and is more functional anyway because now I have a shelf under the saw to put tools, clamps, etc (on the plywood). Secondly, I can always reuse this- by changing the size of the plywood- if I decided at some point to get something different.
This is very high quality. These are very heavy, and strong wheels. this is NOT---I repeat NOT---just some cheap casters you can buy and mount on a sheet of plywood. this is heavy duty, 3/16" thick steel braces/brackets and very heavy to boot. These machines demand it- because the machines are heavy and are vibrating and working hard---do not compromise and try to make something. You will regret it. This is rated up to 400 lbs and if you used a metal reinforcement, ie a sheet of aluminum on top of the plywood it would probably be twice that- but i don't know.
The PROS---
HEAVY DUTY
VERSATILE---change the size of plywood- it changes the size of the mobile base
STRONG---rated up to 400 lbs.
SHELF or BASE--the plywood- to store and or put tools or brackets, clamps etc
CONS:
Plywood is expensive and its a lot of work to put this together.

400 lbs---others are rated more - and when considering cost of plywood- about the same price.
I recommend this IF---you have a table saw- or can get the plywood cut to size. Home depot/lowes will do it if you ask. Measure carefully
USE THE HARDWARE INCLUDED---DO NOT ---USE CHEAP NUTS AND BOLTS. Only use what is given or better- ie grade 5 or grade 8 only.
