I use this for making a lovely skin moisturizer. My skin thanks me. Melt it with a little Jojoba oil and a couple nice smelling Essential Oil drops for aroma and BOOM, a really great moisturizer. I don't like using PUFA oils primarily on my skin anymore and this was a stunningly perfect solution. And if I run out of coconut oil for my eggs, I'll use the Tallow instead.
Here's the recipe I follow:
WHIPPED TALLOW BALM
3 ounces tallow
"¨1.5 tablespoons olive oil or jojoba oil "¨
15 drop essential oil
Melt tallow over low heat.
Once melted, remove from heat.
Add the oil and stir to combine.
Add the essential oil and stir to distribute throughout.
Pour into a heavy bowl to cool.
Once the mixture has cooled, use a handheld beater or stand mixer to whip to a fluffy consistency.
If the mixture has become too hard to whip, warm briefly. You are trying to catch the mixture when it is not too warm or too cold. If you start beating too early it will take forever, but if you wait too long, it may be too hard to beat.

This is the best beef tallow I have used and I love everything about it. The shipping was fast and the company even took time to make sure the containers were wrapped properly so they would not get broken in transit.
