As a first time fish tank user, I appreciated the simplicity of getting everything up and running. I don't find it to be overly noisey. I do wish there was more flexibility with the controlling the different light modes.

Nice nano tank. Yes, the fan is a little noisy but not terrible. The packing around the tank wasn't designed for individual shipment. Ask for the optional (free) Amazon box and it comes with additional foam pads...brilliant! No damage whatsoever. This is my second tank and I love it.

I bought this for my wife as a gift and she loves it. Within one month she has almost covered all the life rock with soft coral. Many were from her larger tank which she took fragments of the coral. It's easy to maintain, but I'd recommend getting the Coralife skimmer with it. Also order bioballs at the same time. The lighting is great too.
