The price worried me a little, but it is a great microphone for what I needed. Plugs into the Mac and just works. Sounds is good, records fine. Note: I use this for product demonstrations, voice over recordings, so nothing hifi, but good old voice recording. I can recommend this to anyone.

I would give 5 stars but I found it's missing a key feature. While using it you have to rely on any recording software to mute the mic. It would be much easier if the mic have a mute button. Everything else works great but I am disappointed there is no way to mute it.

Definitely not bad for the price. When the mic is close to you with minimal background noise, it is extremely clear. Does a decent job of not picking up background noise, but picks up a little. Great indoor desktop microphone.
