We've had this guy for 2 years in an extremely paper-heavy office environment and it's been a dream to use. As long as your stack is 45 sheets of paper or less, it glides through it with zero effort using nothing more than regular (well, regular "premium") SF.4 staples. If you've ever struggled with stapling packets, there is nothing more satisfying than passing a huge stack of paper through this thing.

Only one thing knocks it down from a 5 star rating: it's fairly easy to put the paper in crooked or have the stack not lined up before it staples through it, and you'll end up missing half the stack or have a tilted packet, so you have to be mindful of that and tamp it straight before you put your stack under the sensor.

However, this thing was $45 at the time we bought it and I don't know who could ask for more at that price point. For us it was money very well spent.

Working nicely and quietly "¦ Love it

My old stapler finally died after over 20 years. I refused to get a pulse action model. They are too darn loud. After searching for another gear driven machine to replace mine I found this. Being gear driven and NOT pulse, it is quite a bit more expensive. The ability to corner staple and to manually trigger a staple is a big plus. Having the ability to adjust staple position on the page is a great feature. And best of all, it is pretty quiet. I highly recommend this, if you have a few extra dollars to throw at a stapler or a quieter operation is important to you.

As a background note, my job requires me to staple many items on a daily basis. To put this in perspective, I staple approximately, not exaggerating, 600-1000 items on a daily basis, 7 days per week, with each staple punching through an average of 5-6 sheets. I purchased this stapler in January 2018. In the past I have purchased several electric staplers from varying companies. They all have failed relatively quickly, mostly from irreparable jamming from such a high volume. This is the first stapler to stand the test of time. It has stapled relentlessly and has never jammed. Only issue early on was one of my coworkers broke the small plastic tab that triggers the stapler to staple. I fixed this by taping a small cardboard tab in its place, which occasionally has to be replaced. A more robust tab should be designed. As with any electric stapler, you should treat it gently and not ask it to staple more than it's designed. Overall, I would highly recommend this stapler, especially in environments where high volume stapling is required.
