very good product with just a couple of issues

Overall this is a very good product. I originally purchased the Pyle camera and mirror package and this is heads and shoulders better. Picture quality is very good, installation was straight forward. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the mirror mount is very short causing it to sit lower than my OEM mirror. Because there is very litlle vertical adjustment the mirror just barely makes it to the position I need for complete viewing out my back window. I may take the car to a windshield replacemnt store and have them move the mount on the windshield an inch or two higher to make up for this.

To start I purchased this along with the Master Tailgaters Dodge Ram 2009-2017 Black Tailgate Backup Reverse Handle with Camera. Took some time to install both on my 2017 Ram 1500. The mirror button on the Ram needed to be removed and the universal one installed. Once that was on it was just a matter of running the wire and tapping into the fuse box for power and remote for when the reverse lights were activated. So far it has only been on a day or so but it seems to be a very good quality item. Screen inside mirror seems to be good quality also and mirror feels sturdy. Handle installed installed within 5 minutes and wires run to the front for the mirror took a little more time trying to keep it neat and "factory" looking. I ended up having to pull power from my Trailer wiring reverse post due to the voltage required to turn the camera on. Camera requires 12 volts. My reverse lights output was only 11.3 on the multi-meter. Once i figured this out hook up was finished with soldering the wires inline to the trailer harness. See how the future goes and how it holds up. Hope this helps.

It is a great backup camera mirror for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Truck. The only thing that I don't like is the backup picture is just 3.5". I was hoping that it would be bigger and is a little lite during the daytime. Overall it is a great mirror. Well constructed.

This backup rear view mirror works really well and serves the purpose that was designed for it. Don't expect super high resolution but it fits my needs perfectly.
I paired it with a near OEM tailgate camera on my 2013 Tacoma.
Note: This mirror does require connection to a rear tail lamp to allow the video to turn on. Some mirrors will turn on video when it detects a video feed on the RCA cable, but this will require you to tap into a rear view camera wire near the fuse box or from the rear-tailgate. Luckily, the camera that I had came wired with a wire that led from the rear-taillight to the front where the RCA connection is made and worked out well for me.
