I love this mug! Not only does it keep my coffee HOT but I can start with cold water and heat it to make tea or instant oatmeal for my children. My favorite part is that the heat adjustments are by degree for a specific desired temperature. The only two things I would change is that once it is unplugged it is not well insulated so my coffee gets cold quickly. The other things I would change is I would make the cord a little longer. I have a van with the DC plug all the way on the floor so my cup barely reaches my mouth.

Received this product today (4-1-2018) with great anticipation. I was looking to replace my old style heated cup which I have been using for over ten years. Very disappointed in this product because:

Defective right out of box. Per instructions I filled the inner cup with liquid and ensured it was snug in the cup. Power from 12v supply was good. Blue display lighted when the power was plugged into the cup. Used the plus and minus buttons to select my temperature of 58 degrees C (downside not in Fahrenheit so I had to convert). Hit the power button on the cup and got a red flash for a few seconds then a flashing EA in display. Re-checked inner cup for correct insertion and level then repeated step multiple times with the same result. Referred to the Instruction but they were useless as they provide no information on this code. The instruction also wrote about changing the working model from a 1,2, or 3 but never say what this means. I tried making the change to a 1 and a 2 as my cup defaulted to a 3 but this still produced an EA for type 2 and 3 however type 1 did flash but never heated anything after more than 30 minutes.

Seems to have poor quality control from the factory with poorly written and incomplete instructions. I can't say how this cup works because it failed right out of the box. An online tech support page may have helped confirm I have an out-of-box-failure or maybe even resolved the problem. Nevertheless, first impressions are lasting so I'm looking else ware for a new type of cup even if the cost is more than this cup.

I use this when hunting. I will drink coffee on my drive out to the woods then leave it in the car for hours. When I return, it is usually cool but turning it on for a few minutes brings it back to hot. Usually can warm the formula for my little girl.

I have Ember, it's a aesthetically better and it has a mobile app to control the settings. Yet, it's doesn't do heating, it only controls and maintains the set temperature. Also, it doesn't have a car charger. Puncia is technologically better because it has the capability to heat the liquid, not only maintains it. It has a car charger too. I hope it comes up with a model with a mobile app too soon. I don't know, it may already have it.

I love this cup so much I use it to heat up my babies food while we're on the go. The only thing I didn't care for is that the directions are not clear as far as how the cup works. But when you turn on the cup pour your water in to heat the bottle or baby food up . It takes about 5-7 minuets to get the water hot which is really fast. You'll know the cup is heating when the numbers are highlighted in RED , the settings don't work but the cup does get HOT FOR SURE. If you are looking for something to heat up a bottle this is for you!!!
