Great for kitten litters

I bought this for a momma cat who had a habit of hiding her kittens around my apartment. The playpen keeps everyone contained so she can't hide the babies. It fits their bed, the food dishes, a small litter box, and a scratch lounge with some room to spare so everyone can move around. I've got a 10 pound cat and four 27 day old kittens in there and all have room to crawl and lay. Its held up well to the kittens climbing on the netting so far without any tears. Works very well for my purposes

If I could give 0 stars I would. First, I am using this for growing orphaned kitten who at first use was 3 weeks old and weighed less than 1lb. In the week that he has been using this product the bottom is ripping, it is not water proof, and the mesh panels are tearing. Please keep in mind that a kitten this young is just learning to walk and does not have any skills to really move about in the pen. Also, his nails have been trimmed and are not long enough to cause any damage. I could not imagine a dog, or any other small critter using this that is not an infant animal.
On an aesthetics note, the zipper for the top was obviously made for the larger option, but used for the smaller one because excess zipper dangles down into the play pen area when it is fully zipped or taken off.
This is a complete waste of your money.

Wonderful for my fosters! It does rip a bit easy on the mesh because they keep climbing it. But it is working and so easy to get to them! No holes and cleans easu when the have accidents!

I got the playpen a few days ago. I bought it for a 5 pound Chihuahua that I am fostering. I thought it would be better to put him in it rather than his crate - we are trying to housebroken him. He now spends most of the day going in and out of it to play with his toys. I recently saw someone use the same one as a ball pit. I will be purchasing balls for it next!

This works for my two small puppies and is waterproof - however, it isn't stain proof. There was an accidental poo which stained the material brown no matter how hard the scrubbing was. I definitely had to zipper the top as this is flexible and they could climb out even only being about 6 inches tall at the shoulder.
