This was a total waste of $16 bucks

Did not work for me. I spent hours trying different methods to insert these glides. Warmed them in hot water, sanded down the edges to create a wedge shape on the bottom, pounded the bejesus out of them, nothing worked. And I was careful to measure the inside diameter of my chair pads to make certain they were 1.5 inches and that they were scraped clean. I am also handy with tools and do a lot of DIY work. This was a total waste of $16 bucks. Obviously these work for some furniture, but not for my wrought iron set. Be warned that you may waste a lot of money on a trivial amount of cheap plastic.
Works well, but heat them first

The "caps" work well for our wrought iron patio furniture. Great price! Just like the previous reviewers, I let them sit in a measuring cup of hot water heated in the microwave. They fit tightly, as they should. Use a rubber malet and try to hit in the center of the cap (there's a small hole you need to aim for) once you place them in the bottom of the chair leg. Very pleased. I would buy again or recommend to a friend.

Rating it as loved it althought not sure how it couldn't have met my expectations. However, none of the local stores carry these anymore so glad to find them online at a reasonable price. they arrived qucikly and while somewhat difficult to install (tight fit but i don't blame that on the glides as assume there will be some variance in the chair feet) Had to line them up exactly even on the chair feet and apply pressure/ rubber mallet,. but really satisfied i got them and they work just fine, saving my deck from scratches from the chair feet.

I could not find the right size for my wrought iron furniture. I had one slider that I carried around checking various stores. Then I thought about trying Amazon, there they were!

I had received a tip from the dealer to put them in warm water to soften them, that did not work for us....what we finally did was file off the little ridges on the sides....that worked! They were difficult to put into the space put with the help of large pliers to hold them in place we were able to get them into the slot.

It was an afternoon of work, but such a pleasure to be able to slide"‹ the chairs and table again!
A little work to insert but work fine

They worked fine but it was a little difficult to get them into some of the chairs. For some reason the table worked fine.
I had to shave off a substantial amount of plastic around the outside to finally be able to hammer the inserts into the chairs legs. Once in they certainly don't fall out!
