I took a chance and it payed off

So reading reviews i thought this was going to be a joke but I needed a roof on my camper so here we go. I saw the reviews that is not enough glue so I bought more well on my 19 ft camper I had plenty and could not return the other glue back at camp world. I used a lot and still had some left. I will say it's a pain to do it by your self on a sunny day. I am sure I had a heat stroke. But it all stuck down and it's been over 6 months and it's not leaking and looks great. I would tell any one buying it to have help and take it slow laying it out , bubbles are going to happen but all of mine are gone after the heat. Watch all the videos on YouTube
Roll it onto a pipe as soon as you receive it!
Dave Boal✓ Verified PurchaseJanuary 28, 2024
Good value for money, but important to know. Buy a 3" diameter plastic pipe from Home Depot to roll the material onto as soon as you receive it to lessen the creases. The creases where so bad when I went to install it, it took 4 hours with a heat gun to flatten the PVC. The creases in some places where dangerously close to cracking the PVC. I only used 21 feet of the 25 foot roll. I ran out of glue at 16 feet! Get a second gallon of glue to safely roll the glue on thick enough. I rolled it out 3 feet at a time so that my glue wouldn't dry out, and yes it was a hot day, but it gave me an opportunity to push the bubbles out, easily. Don't forget to install it with the shiny side up!
Thick and durable

The topping was very thick and durable. The kit came with everything that we needed to replace the roofing on top of our camper.
As described, good product.

Everything needed for the install was included in this. The items met the specific qualifications that we needed, and whereas described. The only thing is this stuff is really super heavy. If you're trying to DIY something with your RV, you won't be able to do this yourself more than likely. I recommend getting at least two or three people to help you.
Needs a stronger shipping box

All items came as listed and all items were in perfect shape. Thanks for the can cooler (bonus!). Only suggestion I have is to maybe pick a more sturdy shipping box. The one my order arrived in was pretty flimsy for the weight of the rubber roof. Still, I'm excited to get this put on my 1975 Prowler tomorrow! 😬😬
*edit for product use*
This kit works great. A word of caution, though: WEAR A TYVEK SUIT! Holy smokes, that adhesive is super strong. I lost skin where it seeped through my shirt. A week later and I'm still getting it off my arms. That being said, I loved working with this system. I had completely removed the old tar covered aluminum roof, added reinforcements to the ceiling joists and seemlessly attached a new plywood roof. I followed the instructions provided and watched videos before applying the roof and it went just as it was supposed to. Awesome product. Definitely highly recommend to all wanting to replace an RV roof.
