Smell terrible but 4 year old loves them

The smell is pretty bad of you put them in a closed container. We've had them out for 3 weeks and they still smell like plastic a little. Our 4 year old adores them and they get played with on a daily basis. They are large enough to fit in my hand bit small enough that he can carry several of them around (gotta hide them from the siblings). I love the little booklet that comes with them so he can learn their names. I'm no dinosaur expert so I can't tell you how accurately or inaccurately the dinosaurs are depicted but I think they look nice.
The only issue is the smell, that's why only 4 stars.

I bought these in the 7" and 9" sizes. They're awesome. I painted them gold and cut holes in the top to use for planter centerpieces at my wedding. Because these have such a great, deep, realistic texture - they looked fantastic even sprayed over in gold. I'll be purchasing more to use for decor, and maybe the miniature ones for party favors. Oh and they're a nice sturdy quality as well. Great product!

My 2 y.o has been obsessed with The Land Before Time series and unfortunately I couldn't find the characters since it's been over 30yrs but I found these gems and they are a winner!

Good quality, hard plastic dinos. I made party hats for them as part of a dino themed party. Most could rock the party hat but the couple that had heads too small or narrow for a hat carried party signs either in their hand or mouth. The kids and adults alike loved them!
Bought for 1-year-old, but packaging indicates not suitable for under 3 due to small parts.

These dinosaurs are very detailed and colorful. I do have one (other than the Pteranodon or whatever the flying one is called) that doesn't want to stand. :( I bought for these for a 1-year-old, but the packaging indicates they are not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts. They do not have parts that remove, but they probably could be easily bit off which could cause choking.
