I'm a 5 foot 105 pound cold woman. Used in early winter trip with a temp of 30 in a hammock tent with underquilt.
Pros:
Warm. Used with a home made flannel liner and small throw, wearing thermals. This is the highest down fill I could find for this price. I wanted to sweat but was just comfortable.
Baffling. The baffling along the zipper is great for keeping out that draft. The baffling around the shoulder is nice to pull the top under the hood closed.
Lightweight. The liner I made weighed more than the bag. We hiked 8 miles in the Allegheny national forest with these, not a problem.
Compact. The compression stuff sack squished down to a very manageable size for backpacking.
Durable. The material is super strong. The compression stuff sack is made of it too and I've poked it pretty hard stuffing the bag in and it hasn't ripped or warped. Stitching is holding strong. Straps and buckles stay tight.
Cons:
Plastic feel! Just can't get over how much like a high quality trash bag this feels like. It's strangely soft. But I hate it touching me. It is so bad I made the liner with a hood and bib so the bag dosen't touch me at all. I would have liked to touch this material before purchase.
Long. It's a con for me because I'm short. That leaves a lot of room at the bottom doing nothing. I've tried to put my clothes there but still have room to tie it off. It should have pull strings for the bottom for length control.
Narrow. Yeah, I get that is a mummy bag but it's suffocating at times. Forget about rolling around inside it but you sort of take it with you. Not easy in a hammock. Can't spread my legs and raise my knees inside the bag which is more comfortable in a hammock to distribute the weight.
Puffy. It starts out all flat and innocent then in the morning I was engulfed by this thing. It filled my hammock completely. The foot end was just huge. It was like a big garbage bag was trying to eat me! It was just crazy huge inside the hammock so maybe on the ground would be better.
Overall: Zippers snag a bit on the extra fabric but always get back on track and the material holds up to this. Pricy but is the cheapest for the 800 fill. I would have returned this once my boyfriends 700 fill bag by Elevens came because the material was much nicer. I would sacrifice the fill for the material and lower price but missed that time frame to return so I'll make the best of it.

I bought this for a 6 day trip to the Boundary Waters in July and will update this after the trip. My initial impressions compared to some of the negative reviews are as follows. 1. Excellent zipper with no catching! Appears to be snag proof...although with material this lightweight...good luck never snagging it. Just hasn't happened yet. I think the old reviews must have been with the old zipper. 2. No smell. None at all. Not even polyester smell. 3. Stitching is fine with no loose tag ends. 4. The down is evenly placed and lofty.
Next is why I bought this bag: 1. The boundary waters has never hit below 40 degrees F during July. This bag is rated @ a 32 degree comfort rating. My plan is to use it as a down quilt rather than a bag. Yet IF there are record temps below 40 degrees, then Ill use it as a bag. Best of both worlds. 2. Price vs all others. From what I can tell so far, this is so worth the money! Comes in at just over 3 pounds and packs down to the size of a few Nalgene bottles. 3. Size. I purchased the large version. I'm 6'2" and there is a ton of room in this bag. Foot box is large and fits my size 13 feet. I dont feel trapped in it when fully zipped. That's it for now. Will be updated after a week of use in July.

I wouldn't be any happier or warmer if I spent three times as much on a boutique sleeping bag.

This is the Eolus 800, 0 deg bag. Super nice sleeping bag! For a 0 deg bag with a full hood and enough space inside so you don't feel too
cramped, its hard to find one this light at any price. The secondary inside shoulder cinch is perfect for me because I'm a side sleeper and I don't like to cinch too tight around my head if I can help it. This bag also unzips backwards from the bottom if you need to air coming in from the feet on a warmer night. Yes, it has that shiney black surface that "looks" like a black plastic bag, but it does not feel that way at all and is very comfortable to sleep on top of and quite durable too.

Top notch! I would completely recommend this bag.

Just got this bag for Christmas. Opened it, put it in the dryer on no heat for 5 minutes. It puffed up nice. My first impression was that the material was shiny and really thin. I wasn't sure how durable it would be. Then after closer inspection and really pressing my fingers into it, I realized how strong it is. At that point, I was psyched to try it out.
In PA, since just after Christmas we've had arctic cold weather. It was in the low teens outside, so I took it outside on the deck and got in. I was wearing my flannel pants and a T shirt and socks. My wife thought I was nuts. She gave me one of those looks. Anyway, the zipper is heavy duty. I can't see it breaking at all. There was plenty of room for my shoulders and feet. I'm 5' 9", about 175 lbs. It has an internal draw string for above the shoulders, and another for the face opening. I pulled both tight so no draft would get below my neck from the internal one, and only my nose and mouth we exposed to the outside from the face opening. I laid out there for about 20 minutes and was really comfortable. Not cold at all. I felt a slight cooler on the bottom where the sleeping bag was touching the deck, but I would normally be using an insulated sleeping pad. Very impressed and happy with it.
I've be looking for a down sleeping bag that's water resistant for a few years. I just could not fathom paying $350-$500 for a sleeping bag. That's just ridiculous! Then I saw this one on Amazon for $187. I read the reviews and made my decision. Perfect! I would completely recommend this bag.

Pleased after one use in 20 degree weather

Received my bag a few weeks ago and had a chance to test it out last weekend in southern Ohio. Low temp at night was around 18-20 degrees and i stayed warm and comfortable. No issues with smell as some others have reported. I would agree with other reviews that the zipper is difficult to access while inside of the bag. It has to be zipped from the outside and these bags are snug so you have to reach out with one arm. No problems getting bag back into sack for backpacking but I'm worried a little about durability of the carry sack after repeatedly cramming the bag inside. Overall, I am pleased after one trip.. Seller is also very helpful by sending follow-up e-mails to instruct on care of bag (storing, cleaning, etc.). Shipping was quick and on-time.
