Completely happy with this bag. Recently went on a 14 mile backpacking trip to Yosemite, camped at about 6500 feet with some light snow fall that dusted the ground a couple days prior. Second trip was a nice car camping trip in the Santa Cruz mountains. Temps at night ranged from mid 20's to upper teens (F). Beneath me I have a thermarest Z-lite "egg-crate" and a Neo-air inflatable pad. As a 100% side sleeper I need extra padding for my hips and shoulders. Clothing was thin dry-release base layer and wool socks, nothing more. I also have a cheap costco down quilt that I spread over my foot/ legs mainly to try and keep condensation off my feet. I am a COLD sleeper too. Which by itself isn't bad, except when I get those chills at night it makes me want to pee!! totally sucks, I'm like a little girl in this aspect. Which is a royal PITA. I slept warm, cozy no problems with condensation or anything like that. There was always a warm pocket of dry air around me.

I am 5-11 and 195 pounds, average build. The regular length was a PERFECT FIT. At no point did I feel constrained in this bag. Shoulder area is roomy enough for me as a side sleeper to roll around from side to side. I was able to pull the hood over my head no problems. LOVE the non-shock corded draw string, nice touch there guys!!

Love the safety orange and black coloration too. Its easy to see things against the orange. I put my gloves and wool hat inside the bag to keep them warm... but I never needed them in the night.

Compacts down very nicely too with a great stuff-sack. Packed down and compressed its only a little bigger than my ~30F summer bag, a suisse sport trekker from big-5.

Just finished another backpacking trip at Point Reyes california. Temps got down to low 40F at night. I was warm and toasty all night with nothing more than dry-release base layer clothing, thin gloves and wool socks. For this trip I did not use the extra down quilt that I used above during my Yosemite trip.

I love the rigid-cord draw string hood!! I prefer this over elastic shock cord.

I have no regrets at all, I would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed to replace this one.

I bought this sleeping bag to reduce weight to my backpacking load. My original sleeping bag is a 0F Teton bag that I weighed in at 5.2lbs. This 0F sleeping bag weighed in at 2.6lb which is super light for its temp rating. At first glance my thoughts were "it's so lightweight but is it really worth spending $200 when I already have a perfectly good sleeping bag?" And then I took the bag out of its stuffsack and holllly shit it feels so freaking amazing. Its like a cloud! The feel of the material is insanely soft, the light blue color is pleasing to the eyes, and laying inside of it feels like a dream. So given that + the lightweight, YEAH it was worth it. Now I'm going to use my Teton bag for car camping and this bag for backpacking. Stoked!!! I have 2 minor cons: 1)the stuff sack is a bitch to stuff the bag into. Rolling the bag up like you would a traditional synthetic sleeping bag is not the way, the best way is to litteraly stuff it inside the sack using your fist to push the air out as you stuff. 2)the material of the stuffsack is the same as the sleeping bag. If your like me and usually tie your bag to the outside of your backpack then you would have to worry about it ripping, although it is made of rip-stop, but still. I have another ripstop bag that I use to double up the fabric. So now it weighs 3lbs with that which is still crazy light for 0F.

I go backpacking allover the US and never really paid much attention to the weight of my gear. This is because I was new to backpacking at the time I purchased it all plus money was a factor. Even as gear broke over the years I always managed to repair it. But I've been on a gear-buying-binge lately to upgrade & reduce weight because I backpack enough now that I don't mind spending some money on my favorite hobby. I definitely don't buy the expensive shit though, but things in the affordable/mid to high quality range. This sleeping bag is definitely the best bang for your dollar. Just get it.

& Happy trails!

I studied sleeping bags for literally months before ordering this one. I was torn between versions that were $500-$700 for the lightest and warmest, but I simply couldn't find an excuse to warrant spending that much on a sleeping bag to shave a few ounces. Down to the wire before my camping trip in the autumn mountains this past weekend, I finally decided to order this and a quilt style to see which I liked better. This bag won hands down and I am returning the quilt.

This bag packs small for the temperature rating and is relatively lightweight. It fit easily in my backpack and fluffs right up when removed from the stuff sack. I got inside to test it indoors and immediately started sweating. It has plenty of room for me to move my arms and legs when fully zipped and works when side sleeping as well, although the mummy head section is annoying when side sleeping.

The best part is how warm I was at 15-20 degrees F. Sleeping bags are rated for survival - comfort level is about 20-degrees higher. I sleep cold and like warm blankets and found myself comfortable with just a base layer on in this bag. With a liner, it would be even warmer, but I don't want to backpack with that unless I really need it. I was terribly thankful for having this bag when everyone else was cold and filling their sleeping bags with hand warmers to stay warm!

The down stays where it should and the baffles inside do a great job keeping warm air in and cold air out. The zipper didn't snag even once and is quite sturdy. All said, this bag is everything advertised and I feel it was a great investment in gear.
