I was looking for a few small digital clocks to place on the shelf with the FIOS boxes because they don't indicate the time. These are perfect because they clearly show the time, and they keep excellent time. I needed something small because I didn't want to take up too much room because it wasn't necessary to have a large clock. However, even though the size of the clocks are only 5" wide, the digital numbers are very large and clear and easy to read. You can also adjust the amount of brightness that you want. They also serve as an alarm clock, if needed. I highly recommend this product.

This is so easy to read because the numbers are large, bright. I do not like this kind of light in my lovely dark bedroom at night however, so what I did was took a lady's knee-high sock without any design and slip it over the clock when I go to bed. It really dims the light nicely, yet still easy to read from my bed. I am just so pleased to have a battery run clock and eliminate all the cord clutter at the surge protector. It is also small enough to slip into a suitcase if needed. I do not use the alarm at all so I can't say anything about that.
