While this is a good quality back pillow, it is just too flat for my lower back. I bought it for my reclining couch because there is a gap in the lumbar area. Unfortunately, this pillow only fills in the gap. I need an actual hump in the lumbar area. So the pillow brings the gap to flat, but I still need more support. Just a regular rectangular shaped throw pillow works better for me. This is largely going to depend on the chair where you are using it.

I don't know what took me so long to buy this but I'm happy I finally did it. I'd been using a couch throw pillow for a year or so. My "office" is my breakfast room table and my "office chair" is my breakfast room chair. No support whatsoever. This pillow gives me the support I need. I'd worried it would mess with the look of the room but I have the grey and it sort of blends into the atmosphere and doesn't bother me. I haven't yet figured out how to stop it from slipping down occasionally but I'm pretty sure, if I spend some time with it, I'll get it done. I'm very pleased.
