One owl is blind

One of the 3 owls came without eyes, just pre drilled holes for the eye buttons. They also did not fall off in the bag so seems like this owl skipped the last step in manufacturing of having its eyes put in and wasn't QC'ed before packaging.
I bought this product to scare away chipmunks from eating my strawberries. So far I did notice a lot less birds visiting my garden beds, haven't caught a chimpunk yet either but they did also eat all the ripe strawberries before I put up the owls so time will tell.

They are cute but did not deter birds. These 3 owls plus spiral bird deterrents and a couple snakes around the gazebo did not stop the birds from coming back. I left and within 1/2 hour they were back building a nest above the fan. I gave them 4 stars because they make nice garden decorations, but do not scare away birds.

They are surprisingly beautiful for the price. I have not used them yet for their intended purpose of bird repellent - I'm using them for cat obedience training LOL. My cat is not terrified of them (and I'm not cruel), but she keeps a respectful distance from them, so far. She no longer uses behind my sofa as her own personal hallway, with a pretty owl at each end. Eventually this won't work any more - she IS a cat. At that point I will move them outside for bird "doody" duty to guard my Miata. If not, I'll just order some more owls. In all seriousness, guys, they are very pretty.

I'm not sure if the owl thing will work for you, but we have used them forever to help deter rats, and I'm not willing to do the experiment.
I like that 3 come in an order. These are lifelike down to the claws, and are a bit smaller than others I have, which probably makes these more realistic.
My only complaint is they're difficult to mount. I fill mine w sand, wrap fishing line around- one piece in ea direction, then secure ea piece around a self tapping screw. Mine are on fences, and arbors.
You could use them on he roof also.

These arrived perfectly and appear to be a great value to guard against bird and rodent intrusions on our property. Haven't managed to get them deployed yet, so will update if there's anything truly remarkable about these owls (e.g., if they are not what they seem--h/t Twin Peaks).
