Pros: They work, and significantly less expensive than OEM replacements.
Cons: Transmitter range is absolutely awful - I need to be within about 15 feet (as opposed to about 100 feet for the OEM) and often have to try several times to lock/unlock the car. Construction quality is not great. The two halves of the shell of the keys separate when turning the key to start the car.
The seller is responsive, but has incorrect information about programming these keys. For a 2002 Land Cruiser, programming the key requires separate procedures for the door programming and for the ecu transponder programming. Both can be performed by following steps found on the internet. A card with a link for door programming instructions is helpfully included with the keys, but the seller states that the transponder programming requires a locksmith or dealer, which, again, is incorrect.
